Project: 2020.04.22 – 2025.04.10
Research Objectives
The fifth generation (5G) of wireless communication aims to flexibly support multiple services depending on various requirements. The services are categorized into eMBB, URLLC, or mMTC. The use of multiple numerologies has been introduced to deal with diverse requirements in 5G. However, the inter-numerology interference (INI) is inevitable in multi-numerology system due to non-orthogonality among subcarriers in different numerologies. Furthermore, the issue is even more complicated when the massive MIMO system is employed.
In this study, we model INI and develop signal processing techniques to suppress the interference in massive MIMO systems with multi-numerology. Our final goal is to establish an efficient way of communication regarding the achievable rate, error rate, etc. in massive MIMO systems with multi-numerology.
